THEME: A Celebration of Indian Literature
Our Literary Week, spanning Nursery to Grade XII, celebrates the vibrant world of Indian storytelling, its timeless tales, diverse voices and rich cultural heritage. Indian literature is a treasure trove of wisdom, where every region, language and era adds its own unique voice, making it one of the most diverse and profound literary traditions in the world.
From epics like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata to the insightful fables of the Panchatantra and the Hitopadesha and the witty, value-filled tales of Akbar–Birbal and Tenali Raman, it reflects the depth of our history.
To encourage digital reading, students may also explore stories available on the StoryWeaver portal, opening up a world of multilingual Indian stories at their fingertips.
Alongside stories, poetry forms the soul of our literary tradition, expressing emotions, rhythm and creativity across generations.
This special week embraces the richness of English, Hindi and Sanskrit, offering students a unique opportunity to experience literature through multiple languages. Through stories, poems, recitations and creative expressions, students across all grades will explore the magic of words, the joy of reading and the beauty of our cultural roots.
